This device is designed and made according to the standard of GB/T6011. It is used for the burning test of a hot rod when it touches with a small hard plastic specimen and suitable for plastic industrial companies, testing institutions and scientific research corporations.
We can use the following method to test the burning performance of a specimen. Using a hot rod with metal touch point, whose diameter is 8mm and temperature is 955±15℃, to touch the free end of a specimen for 3 minutes and then take away the rod. Watch and record the burning behavior when the rod and specimen begin to touch with each other, then we can measure the burning performance of the specimen according to the burning conditions.
